Great stay 5☆> | |
We had an amazing time at the Boho / Box Hop! The house was so cute. We had a family of 4 - it was a tight fit when the sofa bed was out. But love that they get creative with the small space! It was tucked away and quiet in the woods, but also very convenient to get anywhere! We definitely want to stay again with The Box Hop. |

Great getaway> | |
My wife and I stayed here the weekend we got married down in hocking hills. The Boho Box Hop is conveniently located close to the highway yet is still secluded and private. The Boho box hop is a great place to book for a romantic getaway. There was no shortage of natural light and you felt like you were apart of the surrounding nature with all the windows. The hosts were very communicative and gave detailed information and instructions regarding the stay. I would definitely recommend staying here. |

We had a wonderful night at the property. It was the perfect size and we loved all of the unique amenities including the hot tub, board games and ukelele/guitar. The scenery was gorgeous and private and was the perfect getaway. We will definitely stay again! |

Awesome stay! > | |
The Boho was a lovely place to stay! We adored the location, the decor and the abundance of amenities! We loved the hot tub and the bedroom views cannot be beat! Seeing the stars above at night was magical! Everything was clean and easy to find. My only suggestions would be to defrost the freezer (we couldn’t fit anything in) and to refrain from using the wall plug in scents. As a migraine sufferer , these scents can be really triggering. We can’t wait to stay at another Box Hop location in the future! Thank you so much!!!! |

We loved it. Cozy and inviting. Super cute and fun. So many perfect little touches. The lights around the hot tub, the ceiling night light/fan in the bathroom, the fan upstairs, all the cute decor and plants, everything was just wonderful. The bed was comfortable. It did get a little warm upstairs but the fan helped. We couldn’t find a grill brush but the grill was clean before we used it. We hated to leave it messy but had no other option. The fire starters were great. Just a personal preference but a rocking chair or two on the deck would be fantastic. We will absolutely be back. We enjoyed our stay. It’s conveniently located to everything we wanted to see. The driveway is best suited for 4 wheel drive especially in bad weather so keep that in mind depending on when you visit. The boho is perfect for 2 people. We can’t say enough good things. |

We loved our stay at the BoHo Box Hop!>
We really enjoyed our stay at the BoHo Box Hop! It was the perfect relaxing getaway from the chaos of everyday life. The place had all everything you needed and more to not have to leave. We were able to cook breakfast and dinner, and basically spend most of the time here. The hot tub was awesome, and we enjoyed the cozy fire pit. The bed was super comfortable and absolutely loved the panoramic view of the woods. We appreciated the attention to detail that the hosts put into this place. It was designed very well. We will come back! |

A dream weekend!> | |
We spent two nights in the BoHo and it was so wonderful! The customer service provided was top notch. The decor was so beautiful and the home was warm and cozy for a milder temp weekend! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, our morning coffee overlooking the trees and cozy nights by fire and enjoying the hot tub. Would recommend over and over again! |

Let me stary by saying that this was one of my all time favorite getaways. The cabin is BEYOND cozy and gorgeous. Everywhere you look, there is something intentional that adds function, beauty, or magic to the cabin. The minds that created this place are nothing short of genius. The location is perfect for any sort of adventure you want to have within the Hocking Hills area and surrounding. The little amenities throughout make this an absolute dream destination for a romantic getaway. We will absolutely come back soon! Besides all that; there are just a few things that don't quite live up to the 5 star hype and expectations. First, our cabin was full of flies when we arrived. Dozens of them which was a bit unnerving. The hot tub was only set to 93 degrees when we arrived and we did not realize this until we actually wanted to use it for what ended up being a luke warm soak. And lastly the deadbolt lock was broken so we had to leave the unit unlocked if we left or when we slept at night. NONE of these tiny, barely even irksome items stopped us from having a wonderful day/night to ourselves. And the 11 hours of sleep we got plus waking up to the beautiful view from the bedroom will stay in my memory for years to come. In summary, The Box Hop is a destination that I will recommend to everyone I meet without hesitation; even if its a tad overpriced. |

Cozy getaway> | |
We booked the BoHo Box Hop almost a year in advance for an anniversary getaway and couldn't wait until we finally were able to go! The place was just as great as it was in pictures, it was the perfect combination of cozy and modern. Overall the place and trip was great however there are a few minor details / frustrations that would have made our trip excellent. First, the oven does not work, it took about 10 min+ to light the gas oven each time we wanted to use it (had to keep doors to the house open in 30 degree weather so we weren't leaking gas into the place) and about 10 min after it would light, it would go out, and so our food took forever to cook and cooked unevenly. Secondly, the WiFi is god awful (as seen in other reviews), we had planned to work remotely from there but the WiFi was so slow we were unable to...we could barely load a webpage on our phone let alone use their "streaming" on the TV that is advertised. I also would agree with the other review about attempting to put a TV upstairs in the bedroom.. the bench at the dining table is super uncomfortable and looks at the TV in an awkward position so if you're stuck inside on a rainy day it would be more enjoyable in a comfier spot but I know you only have so much space in a tiny home, so it's not a huge deal just something we noticed. I also would HIGHLY encourage anyone to bring their own wood with them, we were told there would be a "bundle" we could use and there ended up being about 5 logs that burnt in a few hours so we were very happy we ended up bringing our own logs. Lastly, the trash situation was. abit bizarre....we made dinner the first night and didn't want to leave the trash stinking up our place once the bag was full but we could not find a trash can outside anywhere, ultimately, we messaged the hosts and the responded quickly (which was great!) and told us we had to drive the trash down the long drive way to a dumpster, which was a bit odd / inconvenient but I'm glad we asked so that we didn't attract animals to the house if we just left the bag of trash outside. But, to end the review on the most important, the positives!!: the house was decorated adorably and overall pretty clean (although they need better / more glassware / kitchenware); location is amazing, we were able to get to a bunch of beautiful and amazing hikes in 10-ish minutes, and also into downtown Logan in about 10 as well. The outdoor patio area is gorgeous, the patio with the chiminea and string lights is where we spent most of our time and also the hot tub was excellent and the perfect nightcap, the bathroom was HUGE and we loved that it was stocked with towels (the towel warmer was maybe our fav part of the house haha) and had full laundry! Overall, despite a few suggestions, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the BoHo Box Hop and even had a few friends book for the future once seeing the pictures we shared :) it was a wonderful anniversary getaway. Thank you!!! |

The house and the property are gorgeous. The only item I would note, is how dusty the house is. Especially on windowsills around the bed. And some blue wax left on stair railing. Over all the property was great. |

Excellent stay> | |
The place was so cute and had everything we needed. I love how the windows give you unique perspectives...we watched a squirrel bury nuts from the kitchen and watched constellations drift over the skylight above the very cozy bed! Everything was both charming AND luxurious. So well done! |

Wonderful weekend getaway!>
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the BoHo Box Hop over Memorial Day weekend. we were traveling with kids and coming from columbus and the box hop was the perfect combination of convenient/accesible + serene/removed from our daily lives. the space is both charming and functional, and we enjoyed every inch of it. we also took advantage of its location to get over to some of the local attractions either before or after their hours of peak visitation. the space itself is so enjoyable that i found it hard at times to motivate myself to get out and see some of the amazing things nearby. beyond some of the obvious amenities like the picture windows, hot tub, chimenea, and second floor balcony, we also enjoyed some of the subtler touches like the coffee from chillicothe and the turntable. can't wait to get back! |

BoHo for the night> | |
This was such a sweet place to spend the night! We enjoyed the many windows as it felt like we were in the trees! The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook a meal. We loved sitting out by the fire and playing scrabble and taking a dip in the hot tub! The deck area was big enough for both of us to do some yoga. We would definitely return! |

We’ve been waiting for a BoxHop experience for a couple of years and we were not disappointed. The details matter and it’s clear that they matter to Emily & Seth too! Though we spent most of our time hiking and relaxing, a faster internet connection would be nice to catch up with the outside world. We can’t wait to return in September with friends for our stay at the OG Box Hop! |

Worth the wait! > | |
Booked the boho box hop back in 2020 and worth the wait- so nicely decorated and appointed and quick response when a (tiny) problem needed resolution! The upstairs windows are amazing, the hot tub inviting and the bathtub also very nice! Would definitely return again or check out a different HOP with a larger group! |

Beautiful design, missing some details>
Overall we had a great stay at the Boho. The design was beautiful, we loved waking up in the trees, and the chimnea and outdoor area. We appreciated the online house manual and loved some of the touches to make it cozy. However, there were some details that were missing, none of which were a big deal but I was hoping for more considering the cost. These were small things such as some lights that didn’t work, the French press missing part of the filter, the record player not working well, and a strong smell of smoke/the smoke alarm taken down with the batteries out upon arrival. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. I came with high expectations and did not feel as though they were quite met. |

Love, love, love > | |
Absolutely enjoyed our getaway - from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The Boho brings all the charm in its details from top to bottom. We loved our outdoor space although we wished it was warmer!! But that's Ohio for you. Close to Hocking Hills parks, brewery and restaurants. We booked our stay over a year and a half ago but it was worth the wait! |

Fantastic Weekend> | |
I'm not sure what the rating is indicative of... but it seems there are an infinite number of stars that can be given. I ran out of patience at 178. :-) Really a wonderful weekend at the BoHo boxhop this weekend. The place was surprisingly easy to get to, close to lancaster, a quick drive from Columbus and yet truly remote and removed from everyone and everything. The property is unique, quaint, modern and functional. They've thought of just about everything and the decor is on point. My fiance and i spent the weekend there and found a really cool hiking trail about 7 minutes away that was easy to get to and hike in about 30 minutes (we would do two circuits). Old man's cave is about a 25 minute drive away where we spent most of the day saturday. The hot tub was a great way to end every evening, and start every morning and cooking in the kitchen was easy. It's well appointed with just about everything you need to cook an easy breakfast or a large multi-course meal. It rained a good bit of our weekend so we ended up staying inside in the evenings and played games. The bedroom is awesome and it's beautiful to sleep with windows all around and a huge skylight above. Really a cool place. Couple of minor pieces of info; -The freezer needs defrosted, and it would be super helpful if some ice trays were added to the kitchen mix. Didn't even think about ice going in, but it wouldn't have fit in the freezer even if we had it, given the frost inside. VERY minor thing... -The hot tub motor whined off and on randomly... Then ran almost continuously after saturday morning. It wasn't pushing air through the jets, but it still seemed to just continually run. Might be worth checking out. -I didn't notice anything in the description but those stairs are no good for an obese person, or an elderly person. Wasn't an issue for us, but i certainly wouldn't want my mom going up and down them, if she could even fit. ;-) If there isn't a disclaimer, you might want to put one down. -Would be really nice to have a mounted tv on a swivel in the upstairs. That's the easiest place for a couple to curl up in front of a movie or something, and the downstairs dining room wasn't optimal. Not a big deal, but at the end of a long day of hiking, the hot tub and a flick would have been perfect! :-) Thank you so much again! Great great experience and can't wait to bring a group of friends out for a long weekend in one of your larger properties. Cheers Josh |

A great experience > | |
Place is wonderful. Hot tub was clean and perfectly hot. The main bed is so comfortable and the view in that room is awesome. We were able to do some teacherous sledding behind the house as well. Also loved how the gas grill is directly connected to a gas supply. Loved the fresh coffee beans as well. A few things to improve to make the stay even better: 1. Would be nice to have some garbage bags available. There were none so we had to make do with grocery bags. 2. The wood for the wood burning stove is too long to fit in. Would be nice to have shorter pieces to use 3. There were two protruding nails on the wall going up the stairs. They snagged my sweater a couple times. Had to pound them in so that kids wouldn’t get cut by them. 4. Would be nice to have salt for the front stairs when it snows. They were quite slippery the whole time we were there because of the snow. 5. Glad to have WiFi but it was painfully slow. Good enough to check email but could not load basic web pages at times. 6. The French press appears to be missing the mesh filter. We found a way to make do but it may need replaced. |

Nice getaway > | |
The place was very cute and had all the amenities for a tiny house! The wifi was a bit spotty and the router needed restarted but that was an easy fix once reaching out. The only downside was a neighbor who was approaching us while on the hot tub in the dark at 9pm with a flashlight and dog off leash. We called out to him as we were not expecting anyone to be walking towards the property after 5 minutes of putting our infant to bed and finally getting in the hot tub but it was quite disturbing and very unexpected. |

Perfect Little Getaway!>
This little house was just what we needed. We spent most of our time hiking at the state park, but it was nice to come back & relax in the hot tub. We even had a few deer run past us while in the hot tub. We aren’t really campers, but we truly enjoyed “glamping” in the BoHo! |

Adorable!> | |
The best of it all- a beautifully decorated (and very clean) tiny house in the woods providing pampering time in a hot tub and a gorgeous view to lull you to sleep. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a HGTV home, complete with an adorable record player. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even including some firewood for the modern outdoor fireplace. I can’t wait to stay again, and I’m recommending this beauty to all our loved ones. |
